NUT Endwell Model Science School was commissioned on March 24th, 2015, and commenced academic activities precisely on September 27th, 2015. The school has recorded remarkable successes and achievements since its establishment.

At inception the school admitted pupils into all the class levels in both the preschool (Foundation 1 – Nursery) and primary section (Year 1-5).

The Junior Secondary section commenced in 2017 and The Senior Secondary section started in September of 2019.

One of the greatest achievements for us as a school is our commitment to the realization of the school’s vision and mission statement of providing affordable/qualitative education and producing lifelong learners that can compete with their counterparts globally.

Notable among the many achievements of the school are:

• The successful blending of the Nigeria/British curriculum, which has enabled us to operate comfortably the Montessori Methodology and operate at an international standard.

• Through the school’s Rapid Remedial Approach (RRA) program pupils/students identified with certain academic challenges, mostly reading at entrance were able to overcome such within the space of three weeks.

• The continuous manifestation of learning in the life of the pupils/students is indeed very remarkable. No child who has been enrolled since inception and identified with certain academic challenges has remained the same.

• In 2016 and 2017, our first set of pupils in years 4 & 5 were exposed to the National Common Entrance Examination and over 90% of them passed. Some of them gained admission into schools of their choice specifically, the Federal Government Colleges, while the others continued their study with us.

• Our pupils’/students IT savvy is second to none in and around the state, as pupils from year one are made to take tests/examinations using the CBT platform.

• Pupils/students have been exposed and involved in several inter/intra school competitions and have excelled in them all. We came first at our first competitive outing during the Independence Day celebration match past organized by the state government. We participated and won a medal in the Smart Bee spelling competition organized by One by One the top schools in the state.

• Recorded over 100% success in the just released BECE examination result with no single failure, the first in the life of the school.

• The school’s Train-The-Trainer programme organized for teachers has not only aided teachers in the discharge of their duties, but has also served as platform where professional Montessori trainers are made. The school can without any doubt boast of having more than 10 professional trainers in the area of Montessori.

• • Our teachers came up with innovations via production of teaching uncommon aids to simplify both teaching and learning for the child. Evident among many is the design of both the MATHZZL Eiand NUTHAZEE games to serve as teaching aid and make interesting the teaching and learning the dreaded Mathematics and Chemistry.

• Beyond academics, we teach and instill acceptable morals in our students through practice and compliance to certain values and cultures in the school.
